JOB SUMMARY

This position provides leadership, direction, and problem-solving skills to eliminate manufacturing conflicts, document improvements, and maintain positive relations with our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Be a customer service liaison between our facility and core injection facility.

The job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following elements:

• Locate dies and stage in the die heater station area
• Strive to complete change over within cell takt time.
• Notify team leader of any die problems that may affect schedule
• Run parts on press with the support of process engineer
• Trouble shoot press issues (thermocouples, elements etc.)
• Safely operate “V” stacker and die carts
• Conduct Problem Solving as needed
• Support TPM scheduling and activities
• Accurately report out data for the measurement of OEE
• Ensure die change tool charts are stocked and ready for use
• Perform other work-related duties as necessary
• Maintain high attendance record and work overtime as needed
• Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform other work-related duties as necessary

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Education:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Skills and Abilities:
• Mechanically inclined
• Good mathematical skills
• Have cooperative and loyal teamwork attitude.
• Experience:
• 1-2 years of ceramic core experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED: Push, pull, lift etc. in relation to the requirements of die set-up. Duties are performed in manufacturing areas where compliance with applicable safety rules is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Mechanically aptitude, good mathematical skills

• Pallet Jack

The duties of this position are performed throughout the entire floor space. Duties are performed in both an office setting and in manufacturing areas where compliance with applicable safety rules is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate.

During periods of travel, duties could be performed in conference centers, restaurants, places of public accommodation, modes of travel, etc.

This position has no direct reports.
