Job Description To inspect and pack the final product so it can be stored in the warehouse for shipment.
** SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
** Sort out all defective products before packing.
* Correctly pack the product into the proper packaging per the dispo.
* Tape boxes neatly and securely
* Assure the correct product code/labels are on the box.
* Place boxes on the proper skid with the correct amount of cases per layer and per skid.
* Keep packing area neat, clean, and safe. Assisting in sweeping and keeping product off the floor.
* Communicate to Lead of any quality or sealer problems.
* Complete all necessary paperwork and all required documentation.
* Assist other positions within the department as needed.
* Follow all department and machine rules and procedures.
* Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the Lead or Supervisor.
* Other duties as assigned
** EXPERIENCE*
* * Previous manufacturing experience preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye and attention to detail. Adequate English skills as well as basic math skills are required.
** EDUCATION*
* * High school graduate or GED equivalency required
** SKILLS*
* * This position requires constant standing.
* Ability to keep up with six to eight machines with no or minimal help.
