** SCOPE**:

The Operator is responsible for aiding set-up, program editing, tooling offsets, operating equipment including loading of raw material, unloading and inspection of machined parts produced on assigned machining centers or any other various equipment under the direction of a lead or supervisor that is necessary to produce parts to specification for Company production needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

** RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Effectively and efficiently aid set-up and operate equipment under the direction of a lead or supervisor in the machining department.
* Select required cutting tools, tool grades, and proper speeds and feeds from programming documents.
* Interpretation of blueprints, BOM’s and job routings from information provided.
* Inspect all parts manufactured produced on assigned machines and to perform quality inspections assuring parts meet blueprint or other documented specifications and legible recording results on applicable inspection documentation. Adjust machine settings or programming as necessary to correct any issues discovered during inspection.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance, such as daily or weekly oiling, greasing, checking coolant levels and concentrations, as required to maintain equipment in good operational order.
