Sixth City Marketing offers a remote, full‑time SEO Strategist role for an ambitious, organized professional. The position is located within a two‑hour radius of our Westlake, Ohio office, though the majority of work is performed remotely. It includes a competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities- Formulate, manage, and execute SEO strategies to meet client goals, improving conversions, boosting traffic, and generating sales.
- Monitor progress and ensure marketing objectives are met efficiently.
- Make data‑driven recommendations and proactively identify opportunities.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance research depth and execution quality.
- Meet with clients via phone or in‑person to address questions about strategy, data, and ongoing tasks.
- Build trust and maintain strong client relationships.
- Extract insights from diverse data sources, identify trends, and refine SEO goals through research and implementation.
- Write and edit clear, concise, highly promotional content for website pages, blog posts, and social media.
- Conduct research and analysis on clients’ industries and competition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve client objectives within the scope of work.
- Assist account managers with support tasks.
- Update website content and metadata using CMS such as Word Press, Shopify, Drupal, etc.
- Employ SEO tools to monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for local and organic rank improvement.
- Stay current on trends in SEO, PPC, and social media, and adapt best practices accordingly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Passion for SEO and broader internet marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and data‑based decision making.
- Knowledge of CSS/HTML and website administration systems.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and English language proficiency.
- Effective oral and written business communication skills, able to interact with customers and present concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in digital marketing and SEO.
- 2–3 years of experience in a digital marketing, PR, or advertising agency environment.
- Demonstrated success managing SEO campaigns that produced significant revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital media, technologies, and industry trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously and efficiently.
