Summer Internship - Marketing - Cleveland

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team, with a focus on content creation, video production, and brand storytelling. This role is ideal for a creative, self-starting undergraduate student interested in multimedia storytelling and social media strategy within commercial real estate financing industry. The internship offers exposure to BWE, a national, full-service commercial and multifamily mortgage banking company, and provides an inside look at how marketing drives brand awareness, client engagement, and internal culture.

You’ll collaborate with BWE’s creative team, including our designers, who bring our people, values and stories to life through compelling content.

• Assist in writing and editing Linked In posts, videos, blogs, and other content creation.
• Support the creation and editing of short-form videos.
• Help organize and manage video assets, including footage, approvals, and final delivery.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and marketing campaigns.
• Provide basic animation support for Linked In ads and video overlays (training available).
• Help maintain a content calendar and track deadlines for posts and video releases.
• Conduct light research on market trends, competitors, and industry storytelling formats.
• Assist in internal communications and coordination with producers across BWE offices.
• Ad hoc special projects to support broader marketing initiatives.

• Current undergraduate sophomore or junior.
• Familiarity and experience with video editing.
• Interest in marketing, communications, and storytelling through video and social media.
• Ability to manage time effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Exposure to animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Canva, or similar).
• Experience with Linked In or other social media platforms.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiative.
• Passion for showcasing people and culture through creative content.
