All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.

Primary Patient Population:

Telemetry
Acute Medical

Primary skills utilized/learned:

Cardiac Monitoring
IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion, wound care
Time management, critical thinking, delegating
In cooperation and conjunction with the nurse manager, plans, coordinates, and evaluates all unit activities impacting patient care delivery.
Holds self and staff accountable for identification, evaluation, documentation, and appropriate intervention of patients' needs to ensure quality.
Ensures the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Works with the nurse manager to support unit operations, including practice and financial management.

Personnel RN will work with:

RN, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers

30 beds

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description).
2 years of experience as a registered nurse. Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills
