Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown position requiring 18 months of recent stepdown experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital stepdown unit specializing in cardiac care
• Rotating day and night shifts, 12 hours each (7 am-7:30 pm or 7 pm-7:30 am); shift may vary as needed
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Progressive care and PCU experience is preferred but not required
• Expected to work at least every other holiday
• Assignment at any single location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months
• 6-month waiting period required before returning for another assignment at the same health system
• May float to other units within scope as operationally required
• Documentation requirements include current driver's license and social security number
• Time worked is submitted using Qualivis – Lotus

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown or cardiac stepdown prior to traveling
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
• Two professional references required for consideration
