RN Call Center (Full‑Time)

Shift: 10‑hour shift, 9:00 am–7:30 pm, Weekday/Weekend/holiday availability

Location: Summa Health System, Greater Cleveland

Summary

Responsible for driving population health through clinical access and communication in a call center environment. Acting as the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and hospital faculty, this role provides an unparalleled experience and support by assessing clinical needs, screening patient signs and symptoms, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and guiding members to appropriate resources.

Responsibilities
  • Interact with patients virtually to assess clinical needs and requirements
  • Evaluate patient medical concerns and initial screening of signs and symptoms
  • Collate information for physicians and collaborate with care teams
  • Guide members toward appropriate resources for care and well‑being
  • Support and uphold the population health care model
Minimum Qualifications
  • Formal

    Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain a BSN within three (3) years of employment
  • Graduate of a program accredited by CCNE or ACEN
  • Current license to practice registered nursing in Ohio
  • Experience and Training

    Required:

    Three (3) years recent clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care, and/or emergency room
  • OR Two (2) years recent critical care clinical experience with prior clinical experience; relevant experience includes direct patient care in ER, ICU, or CCU, direct patient triage, and clinical phone triage
  • Knowledge of keyboard with extreme accuracy and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Physical Demands

Sedentary position; ability to sit for extended periods; exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally. Reliable transportation required.

Salary

$35.09 /hr – $42.11 /hr (base rate exclusive of bonuses or differentials)
