Job Title & TypeRN Administrative Supervisor – Part‑Time
Job DetailsPart‑time, 24 hours per week, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. shift. Directs and monitors patient care activities under general direction, in collaboration with nurse managers. Assigns work, monitors and develops the performance of caregivers in the assigned area. Assumes responsibility for resource allocation during the assigned shift. Applies a systematic problem‑solving approach to develop, implement, and evaluate plans for patient flow/placement and efficiency for patient care outcomes and satisfaction.
Facilitates admissions, transfers, and discharges by interacting with bed control, multiple departments, nursing management, nursing staff, social services, physicians, and other agencies. Accountable for verification of census reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but must obtain a BSN within three (3) years of employment
- Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
- Three (3) years of related professional experience
- One (1) year in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to work assigned alternate shift weekends
- Ability to problem‑solve in clinically complex situations
- Excellent communication, leadership, organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging fellow team members
- Competencies in assigned area of responsibility are determined by divisional leadership
- Population‑specific competency: ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with understanding of their needs for self‑respect and dignity

$44.78/hr – $53.74/hr the salary range posted is the base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Factors such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered in determining the starting rate of pay. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
