American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be variable to meet hospital operational needs, though facility will try to honor preferred shift
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients, including monitoring and floating to related units as needed
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with passing scores required
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• All RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
