Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN with 1 year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license for a hospital position with rotating day/night shifts.

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with passing scores required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts: 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm (3x12 hours)
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients, including monitoring and assessment
• RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check findings are reviewed, but open cases or any license-related issues are not accepted
