RN – Epilepsy Monitoring Unit; EMU

As an RN in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at Cleveland Clinic, you will deliver exceptional care to adult patients with suspected or confirmed seizure disorders. This role is ideal for passionate caregivers who want to support patients through their healthcare journey.

• Pay: $36 - $56/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

• Education:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required.
• Experience:
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience required.
• Neuro experience preferred.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
