American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN with 1 year of ER experience and an active OH or compact RN license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 11:00am to 11:30pm
• Required to work every other holiday

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ER specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• Professional license hits are not accepted
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
