American Traveler is hiring a Step-down RN with telemetry experience, requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Hospital Step-down unit specializing in HVTI patient population
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day shift (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) on a 3x12 rotating schedule
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references are not accepted
• All required certifications must be active and in hand, not pending

• Provide step-down level nursing care to a cardiac/HVTI patient population
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum 2 attempts)
• Expected to work at least every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
