American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring OH or compact RN license and ACLS/NIHSS certification.

• Stepdown unit within a hospital setting caring for HVTI-Stepdown patient population
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating 3x12 shifts (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30), subject to change based on operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in the stepdown specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty required (no co-worker references accepted)
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation with a passing score
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
• Facility does not accept candidates with any license hits or open background check cases
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• All requested time off must be discussed and finalized prior to starting the assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
