Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with required Ohio or compact licensure and at least 1 year of specialty experience for a hospital setting with rotating day/night shifts.

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be active at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation; acceptable scores required with a maximum of 2 attempts
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases and any license hits are not accepted
• Travel experience is not required for consideration
