American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an ICU night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience.

• Work in the Medical ICU (MICU) at a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in ICU required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment must be passed during orientation
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients on night shift
• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments with up to 2 attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
