American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and 1 year of specialty experience.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating 3x12 hour shifts (7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm)
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• References must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with medical/religious exemptions only

• Care for medical/surgical and telemetry patients within a large academic hospital system
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required
• PBDS assessment waived for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers may be considered
