Travel RN - Acute Dialysis

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring 1 year of perm dialysis experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Active RN license - Ohio or compact state license in hand required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) required and must be active, not pending
• 1 year of combined permanent dialysis experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)

• Dialysis unit within a hospital setting
• Provides in-center hemodialysis (IHD) for stable patients as well as bedside hemodialysis for ICU patients who cannot be transported
• Connects and disconnects patients from peritoneal dialysis treatment
• Does not provide CRRT therapy, which is managed by ICU nursing staff
• Primarily uses Fresenius machines; does not use Tablo machines or provide PIRRT
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Requires on-call rotation and every other weekend
• Full orientation provided on dialysis machines
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases are not accepted
• License hits are not accepted under any circumstances
