This role is pivotal in safeguarding our brand, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of continuous quality improvement across our Cleveland facility.

If you are a passionate quality leader with a deep understanding of SQF, GMPs, and HACCP, and you thrive on developing robust quality systems, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Quality System:
Own, manage, and continuously improve the SQF (Safe Quality Food) system, ensuring the site is always audit-ready.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA, Ohio Dept. of Agriculture) and third-party audits, ensuring full compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
  • Drive a Culture of Quality:
Champion a "Quality First" mindset across all departments, providing training and coaching on GMPs, HACCP principles, and quality standards to all employees.
  • Manage the Quality Team:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Technicians and Specialists, fostering their growth and ensuring effective execution of daily quality checks.
  • Oversee Food Safety Plans:
Maintain and validate the HACCP/HARPC plans and prerequisite programs, ensuring they are effective and properly documented.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis:
Spearhead complex investigations into customer complaints, non-conformances, and CAPAs, implementing effective and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Manage Supplier Quality:
Oversee the raw material and ingredient approval process, conduct supplier audits, and manage the supplier corrective action program.
  • Analyze & Report on Quality Metrics:
Establish KPIs for the quality department, analyze data trends, and present quality performance reports to plant and corporate leadership.

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance role within food and beverage manufacturing.
  • 2+ years in a quality leadership role (e.g., Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager) with direct reports.
  • Expert knowledge of GFSI schemes (SQF highly preferred), HACCP, GMPs, and FDA/USDA regulations.
  • Proven experience leading successful third-party and regulatory audits.
