QC Analyst (2nd Shift)
Shift: 2:00 PM‑10:30 PM EST (Mon‑Fri)
Location: Cleveland, OH 44125
Duration: 12+ months
Pay Rate: $35‑38 /hr on W2
OverviewResearch Organics is seeking an experienced QC Analyst to support increased Quality Control operations on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical testing skills, method validation experience, and the ability to work independently in a GMP‑regulated laboratory.
Key Responsibilities Analytical Testing- Perform routine testing using IR, pH, TLC plates, solubility, wet chemistry methods, and HPLC.
- Execute USP/EP/JP compendial testing accurately.
- Follow SOPs and written test procedures.
- Perform peer review of analytical data.
- Draft, execute, and report method validation protocols.
- Serve as a technical reviewer for protocols and reports.
- Follow GDP and Data Integrity guidelines.
- Identify and document OOS/OOT results.
- Lead or support investigations with minimal supervision.
- Determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct routine instrument/titrant verification and calibration.
- Independently plan and manage assigned tasks and projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory per cGMP and ISO standards.
- Participate in process improvements, safety initiatives, and 5S activities.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Life Science.
- 5+ years laboratory experience.
- Associate degree in Chemistry or Life Science.
- 10+ years non-academic laboratory experience.
- Method Validation
- Compendial Testing (USP/EP/JP)
- Hands‑on experience in GMP laboratory environments
- Strong analytical chemistry (HPLC, IR, wet chemistry)
- Compendial method execution
- GMP compliance & documentation
- Data review, OOS investigations
- Instrument calibration
- Attention to detail & problem‑solving
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift
- Medical screening (pre/annual)
- Background check & drug/alcohol testing
- Ability to stand long hours & lift up to 25 lbs
- PPE use and chemical exposure handling
(No forklift, respirator, laser, animal handling, or pathogen work required.)
