We are hiring immediately for full‑time CATERING ATTENDANT positions.

Location:

Case Western Reserve University – 1619 Mistletoe Road, Cleveland, OH 44106 (online applications only).

Schedule:

Full‑time schedules. Days and hours may vary; open availability required. Details will be provided during the interview.

Requirement:
One year previous experience.

Pay Range: $16.00–$20.00 per hour.

Job Summary:

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events during his/her shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down the setup; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.

• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Set up buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly clean location after event is completed.
• Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
