Steward/Dishwasher – JACK Entertainment

Perform all back‑of‑house dishwashing tasks, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support kitchen operations in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

• Prepare tableware for washing (scrape plates, pre‑soak silver, rack items).
• Set up and monitor the dishwashing machine (drain closed tanks, maintain correct detergent levels).
• Wash dishes, stack and store china in the appropriate kitchen area.
• Clean dishwashing equipment and working areas thoroughly.
• Collect all soiled pots, wash, and restack cleaned pots on shelves.
• Remove all garbage and refuse.
• Replace and remove all fryer oil.
• Maintain kitchen floor (mop, sweep).
• Sanitize all cooking equipment.
• Adhere to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Back‑of‑house restaurant experience preferred.
• Must work independently; sit, stand, or walk for long periods (4 hours).
• Must respond calmly and make rational decisions during employee conflicts.
• Must maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor (minimum 20 steps or escalator).
• Must lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel.
• Must tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
• Must work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have a neat and clean appearance.
