The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role is critical in evaluating potential personal injury cases, gathering accurate information, and providing compassionate, professional experience to individuals who may be injured or under stress. The Intake Specialist ensures qualified cases are promptly routed to attorneys while maintaining high standards of client service and confidentiality.
Intake Specialist Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls, emails, website inquiries, and chat leads from potential clients
- Conduct detailed intake interviews to gather facts related to accidents, injuries, liability, and insurance
- Evaluate case viability using firm intake criteria and escalation guidelines
- Accurately document all information in the CRM system
- Follow up with prospective clients to obtain missing information or documentation
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with injured clients and their families
- Maintain strict confidentiality and firm policies
- Provide backup to support other office staff as needed.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in call center, medical office, or customer service setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or CRM
