Associate Product Manager

You are a passionate product-focused professional with e-commerce experience. You love product and have some experience selling and presenting product on ecommerce channels. You understand traffic, conversion, and profitability of ecommerce listings. You enjoy diving into details, seeking out opportunities to maximize, build upon and test new products and product categories.

You are creative and analytical. You are ever questing to understand product trend curves, can develop financial plans and can propose opportunities based on combining and analyzing data. You have experience developing product directly with vendors, negotiating costs & developing a cost / retail structure to optimize market value.

• Research existing product performance, market and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop assortment strategies
• Suggest product development needs, work with vendors to seek options and adjustments. In accordance with the Sales Plan, support direction to in-county contacts to gather samples,
• As samples are confirmed, work with cross functional partners to review of samples, features and benefits, compliance related issues, retail price, creative / brand positioning / needs, launch timing, etc.
• Work with Creative Services on imagery and content needs
• Research market & develop wholesale and retail pricing structures
• Execute Sku creation, suggest initial purchase qtys and drive to PO creation
• Consistently monitor Reviews, Ratings, by Key Account and Action by product / sub department.
• Assist in identifying skus to discontinue based on poor sales / margin performance

• 4+ years professional experience in a product development, sourcing and or merchandising role
• Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• E-commerce experience is a plus
• Advanced in Excel
• Proficient in Power Point
• Bachelor’s Degree
