ResponsibilitiesAs an individual contributor, the Business Development Director will:
- Identify potential business opportunities and develop relationships with accounts in the Cleveland market.
- Understand customers' critical business strategies and work with subject matter experts to create and execute solutions that help achieve their objectives.
- Must be currently located in the Cleveland area.
- Minimum seven years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
- Clear history of new business development selling marketing solutions or professional business services.
- Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in large accounts.
- Large volume sales experience ($250,000+ per sale).
- Experience with broad range of sales cycles (3 to 12 months).
- History of career stability with a maximum of three employers in the last ten years.
- Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
- Four‑year college degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; proficiency with web, SaaS, and mobile applications a plus.
Your compensation is uncapped and based on performance. Base salary of $140,000, plus commission tied to revenue productivity, and a fiscal year‑end bonus based on profitability. For the first two years, bonuses are available for achieving key performance indicators tied to sales activities.
