Job Description & How to Apply Below

Full-time, direct hire, onsite. Two openings.

A large healthcare technology management program at a major academic medical center in Cleveland is hiring experienced Imaging Service Engineers. This is a senior-level, in-house role: you’ll be based at one campus, with no travel territory, servicing a full mix of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic radiation equipment and acting as the technical lead for imaging on the team.

What you’ll do
  • Perform advanced inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance on diagnostic imaging and therapeutic radiation equipment, including CT, MRI, digital X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arms, ultrasound, mammography, and nuclear medicine/PET
  • Keep equipment and documentation compliant with Joint Commission, FDA, and state regulatory standards; support safety initiatives, audits, and remediation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers and biomedical technicians
  • Partner with radiology and clinical staff to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting patient care and workflow
  • Contribute to medical device cybersecurity efforts, including risk assessment, incident response, and HIPAA compliance
  • Help manage parts purchasing, resource planning, service contracts, and vendor relationships
What you bring
  • 5-7+ years of hands‑on experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment (OEM, third‑party, or in‑house hospital)
  • Depth in at least two major modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray/fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, ultrasound); OEM factory training a plus
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, biomedical equipment technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance, with experience supporting audits and corrective actions
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and a customer‑focused approach in a fast‑paced hospital environment
Details
  • Onsite in Cleveland, OH; candidates must be local or commutable, no relocation assistance
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, tuition reimbursement, and career growth opportunities
