Security Officer - $1,000.00 Hiring Incentive (Swing & Grave Shift)

• Protect company assets and ensure a safe environment for team members and guests.
• Provide directions and escort customers in need.
• Assist civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other administrative hearings.
• Perform chip fills and jackpot verifications.
• Escort money and persons in money‑handling positions.
• Provide first aid, including CPR when necessary.
• Patrol all sections of the property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security.
• Investigate, interview, and document all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain detailed lost and found descriptions of people and incidents.
• Enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
• Must respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
• Must maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
• Must lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
• Must tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
• Must work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously without frustration from changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles.
• Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Prior security and/or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Must present a well‑groomed appearance and work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must cope with emergency stressful situations rapidly and without hesitation.

• Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio.
