Job DescriptionSecurity Officer – Government Facility Rounds in Cleveland, OH. As a Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help deter security‑related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Complete logs and incident reports as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
