OTR Tire Technician
to support our growing client base across high‑demand job sites.

Position Overview
As an OTR Tire Technician, you will perform tire services on large earth movers and heavy construction equipment in shop and field environments. You'll be responsible for mounting, repairing, rotating, and maintaining OTR tires in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Boom truck operation and site compliance will be key aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mount, dismount, inspect, and repair OTR tires for mining and construction equipment
  • Safely operate hydraulic service trucks and boom equipment
  • Perform site work and field service calls as needed (travel to mine or job sites)
  • Ensure all work meets TIA (Tire Industry Association) and MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) standards
  • Complete tire work orders, inspections, and documentation accurately
  • Conduct regular maintenance on tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Follow all PPE, safety protocols, and site‑specific compliance requirements
  • Communicate with site personnel and dispatch teams regarding service needs and updates
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of OTR or heavy equipment tire experience (mining or construction preferred)
  • TIA OTR Certification (required or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • MSHA Part 46/48 Certification (required or willing to obtain)
  • Ability to operate boom‑equipped tire trucks (training available if needed)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL a plus)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly
  • Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work independently in challenging environments
