As a new Maintenance Technician at EDEN, you'll be expected to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment. Your day‑to‑day activities will include troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, maintaining records of repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You'll collaborate closely with your team to respond promptly to work orders, maintaining a proactive approach to upkeep.

Expect to engage in a variety of tasks, from minor repairs to larger projects, all aimed at keeping our facilities in top condition. Your standard schedule will be Monday through Friday, with an on‑call rotation to address emergencies as they arise. Flexibility and a customer‑centric mindset will be crucial as you contribute positively to our community environment.

To thrive as a Maintenance Technician at EDEN, you'll need a robust set of skills and qualifications. An adequate toolset is essential for performing daily job tasks efficiently. We prefer candidates who have completed trade or technical school training combined with at least 2 years of relevant experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic. Alternatively, 3 years of hands‑on experience can also qualify you for this role.

Independently troubleshooting and executing repairs are critical to maintaining our facilities, so strong problem‑solving skills are essential. You must possess excellent communication abilities to address maintenance‑related work orders efficiently and collaborate with your team. A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less, along with an operable vehicle and proof of insurance, is required. Flexibility to participate in the on‑call rotation is also important, ensuring that our facilities are well‑maintained at all times.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• A Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc will need an adequate set of tools to perform daily job tasks.
• Trade and/or technical school training paired with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic preferred.
• Or 3 years of relevant maintenance technician or mechanic work experience preferred.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and perform daily repairs to maintain and upkeep company facilities.
• Strong communication skills are essential to address maintenance related work orders efficiently.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less.
• Operable vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Must be able to work on call rotation.
