The Job

Integrated Restoration is hiring an experienced siding lead to run daily exterior work and work alongside the crew. Siding will be the primary assignment. When siding is not ready, the crew will move to job-coded Reconstruction and Mitigation work that closes jobs and keeps the team productive.

This is a working foreman position reporting to the Reconstruction Manager. You will verify that jobs are ready, set the daily plan, lead safe production, inspect quality, and keep the assigned Project Manager informed.

What You Will Do

• Lead a two- to three-person crew on residential and commercial siding and exterior restoration projects.

• Review scopes, measurements, plans, material lists, and manufacturer instructions before work begins; confirm access, protection, materials, and job readiness.

• Lay out and install siding systems, including tear-off, housewrap, insulation, starter, corners, channels, flashing, penetrations, trim, and finish details.

• Bend and install aluminum trim and complete soffit, fascia, flashing, window, door, sheathing, and related exterior carpentry work.

• Plan the safe use of ladders, pump jacks, stages, scaffolds, and fall-protection equipment. Complete required inspections when trained, qualified, authorized, and designated as the competent person.

• Assign daily work, train crew members, correct unsafe or poor-quality work, and keep production moving without sacrificing the property or finished result.

• Record labor, photos, progress, material use, delays, damage, and scope changes in the company's job system each day.

• Coordinate with the Reconstruction Manager and Project Managers on sequencing, customer access, material needs, supplements, and work that is ready for invoicing.

• Protect customer property, maintain a clean site, secure materials and equipment, and complete a final quality review before the crew leaves.

When Siding Work Is Slow

The crew will move to planned work in this order:

• Exterior carpentry, sheathing, housewrap, windows, doors, soffit, fascia, flashing, and trim.

• Reconstruction punch-list, warranty, finish, and closeout work.

• Emergency board-ups, weather protection, and temporary exterior repairs.

• Controlled demolition, rebuild support, material handling, and other restoration field work.

• Tool and equipment maintenance, warehouse support, or training after job-coded field work is covered.

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Regular schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Early starts, late finishes, overtime, or occasional weekend work may be required based on weather, project conditions, emergency board-ups, or customer needs.

• Work is performed at homes and commercial properties throughout Northeast Ohio. Reliable transportation to the office and dependable attendance are required.

• Exterior work is weather-dependent. The company may change the daily assignment to keep the crew productive and protect active projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to lay out and complete siding projects independently, with prior crew-lead or working foreman experience.

• Hands-on skill with siding, aluminum bending, soffit, fascia, flashing, housewrap, exterior trim, and common exterior repairs.

• Working knowledge of ladders, pump-jack systems, scaffolds, and fall protection. Competent-person training is preferred; required company training must be completed before performing that role.

• The judgment to identify unsafe conditions, stop work, solve field problems, and escalate scope or customer issues promptly.

• Ability to read scopes and measurements, plan labor and materials, and use a smartphone or tablet for photos, timekeeping, and daily documentation.
