Recovery Resources is seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Specialist to empower clients in achieving workplace success. This role focuses on matching job opportunities with clients’ employment needs, strengths, and interests while providing the support necessary for sustained success in the workforce.

In this role you’ll collaborate with clients to identify barriers to competitive employment and develop strategies to overcome them; facilitate job placements by matching clients’ skills, strengths, and interests with suitable opportunities; provide one-on-one coaching to help clients manage symptoms that may impact employment; support clients in developing interpersonal and professional skills for workplace success; build and maintain relationships with local employers to create new job opportunities;

and monitor clients’ progress in the workplace and provide ongoing support as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in job coaching, career counseling, or a related role is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of community resources and local employment opportunities is a plus.
