Indoor Cycling Instructor

Everybody Cycle is an established indoor cycling studio on the border of Lakewood, OH and Cleveland, OH. We are dedicated to providing an unparalleled customer experience to our riders. Everybody Cycle is looking for an instructor to join our team. We believe in building a diverse community, and our instructors are an essential part of that mission.

  Coaching:
  
  Mindful that everybody has varying relationships to their body and fitness, instructors must avoid any discussion of weight loss, looking a specific way, or eating a specific way.
• Positive Cuing:
  Cues should be constructive, inspirational, and motivational.
• Rider Preparation:
  Instructor must be available 30 minutes before the ride to fit new riders to their bikes and provide instruction.
• Music-Driven Rides:
  Classes must be music-driven (beat-based), the instructor rides and performs choreography to the beat.
• Safety Standards:
  Instructors must follow best practices for indoor cycling safety.
• Community Engagement:
  Foster a sense of community by actively engaging with riders and creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Instructors must stay 15 after each ride to socialize with riders and help clean.

• Applicants must have previous instructing experience. When hired we provide guidance on Everybody Cycle specific cycling instruction and safety.
• Applicants must be available to teach Thursdays at 6:00 PM and select Saturday mornings.

• Passion for Movement: A genuine interest in fitness and a passion for movement.
• Availability:
  Ability to work the required Thursday evening and Saturday morning shifts.

• Compensation: $25 base pay per ride instructed, plus a per-rider bonus to earn up to $50 per ride instructed.
• Music Catalog:
  Access to a vetted indoor cycling instructor music catalog of approximately 1,000 songs (Spotify, Sound Cloud, and You Tube) categorized by ride section, RPMs, and other dimensions.

• Training:
  Instructor training provided by Everybody Cycle.
• Studio Access:
  Complimentary membership with access to attend any ride for free.
