A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring on-time shipments, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise shipping and receiving personnel
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, documentation, and inventory transactions
- Ensure order accuracy, inventory integrity, and timely deliveries
- Manage warehouse safety, OSHA compliance, and employee training
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Track and report KPIs including productivity, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to resolve logistics issues
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations preferred
- Experience with inventory management and ERP systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation
- Forklift certification is a plus
