Package Handler

As a Package Handler, you will support daily package receiving, sorting, tracking, labeling, and delivery across an indoor campus setting. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build long-term career stability through a temp-to-hire path. Success in this role requires reliability, strong attention to detail, comfort using technology, and a positive attitude.

• Receive, sort, and process inbound USPS mail and accountable packages.
• Check in and deliver USPS and accountable packages using chain of custody technology.
• Retrieve outbound USPS mail and packages from designated mail hubs.
• Create Fed Ex shipping labels accurately and efficiently.
• Walk and stand for much of the shift while delivering packages across two indoor buildings with multiple floors.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service during package deliveries and daily interactions.

• Pay Rate: $16.59 per hour, W2.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 1st shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  Public Square, Cleveland, OH 44114.

• Receive, sort, track, and deliver USPS and accountable packages.
• Use chain of custody technology to check in and manage package deliveries.
• Retrieve outbound mail and packages from mail hubs.
• Create Fed Ex shipping labels and support daily mailroom operations.
• Ability to walk and stand for 4 to 6 hours per day.
• Ability to occasionally lift 30 to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using technology and package tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
• High level of customer service and professional communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established processes.

• Previous experience in a mailroom, shipping and receiving, courier, package handling, or logistics support role.
• Experience creating Fed Ex labels or using shipping software.
• Experience working in an office, campus, or professional business environment.
