Cleveland State Community College is accepting applications for the following position:
Adjunct Faculty Pool – Accounting
. Instructors provide quality instruction, maintain a positive learning environment, and perform administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.

• Plan and teach classes as assigned and in accordance with course descriptions, syllabi, and departmental guidelines.
• Begin and end all classes as scheduled and cover all relevant learning outcomes for each course.
• Maintain academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure an environment conducive to learning; communicate with students weekly and answer student emails in a timely manner.
• Evaluate students using a variety of methods and inform each student of scores received on each assessment promptly.
• Use Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and respond to student questions via Cleveland State email promptly.
• Meet deadlines for all administrative requests such as submitting personnel paperwork, acknowledging contracts, academic activity and assessment reports, and final grades.
• Submit requests through the department chair, program coordinator/director, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids.

Minimum of a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework focusing on teaching discipline.

• Master’s degree: $550 per credit hour
• Master’s plus 30 semester hours (ABD): $575 per credit hour
• Doctorate: $600 per credit hour
