Location:
Cleveland, TN. Relocation assistance will be offered to candidates that live 50 miles outside the Cleveland, TN facility.
Expected annual salary range: $83,000 – $122,000 a year. Salary is a general guideline and depends on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll DoThe Operational Technologies / Digital Factory Engineer will develop, lead and plan manufacturing engineering initiatives resulting in significant advancements in productivity, product cost, quality, and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment.
Essential Functions- Manage Industry 4.0 projects, including Digital core, IIoT, additive manufacturing, and systems integration at the Cleveland, TN plant, and manage project objectives and timelines. (20%)
- Develop approaches to solving problems in processes, tooling, equipment, facilities, and cost using Industry 4.0 methodologies. (16%)
- Guide and support plant teams on machine connectivity & data acquisition activities. (5%)
- Assist manufacturing teams in the development, submission & approval of business cases for Industry 4.0 project opportunities. (10%)
- Train key plant personnel on Industry 4.0 tools & technologies to ensure successful adoption and achieve improvement objectives. (4%)
- Develop knowledge & expertise in Industry 4.0 tools & technologies to serve as a local subject matter expert. (15%)
- Establish and maintain project expense and capital expenditures with pre-established budgets and timelines. (12%)
- Assist in the development of the technical, engineering, and support talent. (8%)
- Provide technical expertise or support related to automation and manufacturing processes. (10%)
Required (Basic)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of leading software/digital projects, tools, or solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics or Technical Science.
- Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt).
- Lean, OpA, or MESH subject matter expert/category champion.
- Robotics, Automation and Controls Experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of MRP systems and expert MS Office skills.
- Project Management experience with Microsoft Project.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, and other digital formats.
