The Restaurant Server oversees day‑to‑day customer service and food service. The incumbent receives and conveys orders to the cook, delivers food promptly, and maintains a clean serving section. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

• Report to work on time in a clean uniform.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting.
• Review the menu, suggest products, and take orders at each table.
• Submit tickets to the cook’s station using approved abbreviations.
• Deliver food in a timely manner to customers when ready.
• Handle money, account for tickets, close all receipts, and ensure tickets are rung up before shift ends.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Perform all prep and cleaning duties, including bussing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms and walls.
• Bring all items of concern to the manager immediately, especially safety concerns and customer complaints.
• Know the menu, daily features, juices, add‑ons, and desserts to suggestively sell products.
• Follow Huddle House steps of service with every guest to maximize shift sales.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communication with all restaurant staff.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
