Provide an orientation for new families.
Make introductory telephone contact prior to assigned family’s entry.
Conduct in-depth orientation and “map the territory” during first treatment.
Visit, teach and model positive behavior management techniques and strategies with both adults and children, utilizing appropriate and congruent facial expressions/body language.
Rate core and individualized Behavior Management Training (BST) sessions.
Maintain reliability in the BST rating system. Keep family 3-ring binders up to date.
Track BST data and activities, training activities, and parent/adult case notes.
Gather data using Family Objectives (Initial and Progress) forms, Treatment Summaries, and Case Dispositions.
Present data in usable and organized fashion to Resource Consultants or Program Coordinator in a timely manner.
Candidate must be a graduate of the RIP program.
