Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver – Visiting Angels Humble, TX

We seek individuals who are truly committed to providing care to senior adults and those in need.
As a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver you support seniors with a wide range of responsibilities, from light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation to mobility assistance, transportation, and companionship. You’ll also have opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Shift Options:
- Full Time

Responsibilities:
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation, mobility, and transportation (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with routine exercises
- Plan and prepare meals with clients’ assistance
- Do client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
Requirements:
- Passion to serve others
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Housekeeping and cooking knowledge with dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Clean background check
