Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

Pay
: $10.00 to $13.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.36 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate works with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, and helps with inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves interacting with a wide variety of jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and other items, including firearms in FFL locations where applicable.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns hourly pay plus commission based on productivity. Pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; collaborate to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, lifting, etc.) in compliance with laws.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Ability to work at exterior locations or retrieve products stored in exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
