Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Sales Admin to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. This role is for someone who wants to have a key role supporting the sales team with proposals to win new business for the company.
As a Sales Admin, you will support the sales team by creating bid documentation, assembling portions of proposals, coordinating with other departments, and moving the documents to the sales team.
The Sales Admin will primarily interact with the Senior Sales Admin to assist with quotation assembly, as well as with the sales team to gather data from the field, assemble rough scope outlines on a Word document, process thermal imaging, and select the appropriate language for proposals.
Please note:
this is not a sales position; there will be no interaction with clients or need to sell anything. This position is internal IAFD support to take the request from a client, shuffle and collect information, and present the sale team with a quotation.
With over 20 years of experience, Industrial Air Flow Dynamics is the premier field service group in the power generation industry and the leading provider of replacement expansion joint systems, penetration seal systems, and HRSG duct/liner replacement systems. We provide our power plant and utility customers with turn-key solutions driven by our engineering expertise.
Our engineering team diagnoses the root cause of the problem and improves the OEM design. Our manufacturing team builds the required products and our field services team completes the on-site installation.
Responsibilities- Act as the central point of contact on assigned proposals.
- Coordinate with other departments across multiple business segments to request the documentation required for proposal/prequalification submittals (rate sheets, contract, schedule, safety, quality, etc.).
- Responsible for writing portions of proposal responses to meet RFQ/RFP requirements.
- Ensure that estimate details and takeoffs are accurate, complete, and reflect the actual requirements of the project.
- Responsible for the overall quote flow; accurately follow the quote processes.
- Ensure timely completion of multiple deliverables in a positive cooperative manner.
- Coordinate proposals from RFQ to final submittal.
- Work under tight schedule constraints to submit proposals and meet tight deadlines as needed.
- Experience using
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a business focus.
- Minimum 1 year experience with a sales process, assistant, or administration preferred.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail in a professional atmosphere.
- Knowledge of sales process.
- Driven to succeed and take ownership of each project.
- Must be able to shift priorities and multitask as needed.
- Ability to communicate with sales, engineering, and field services.
- Excellent grammatical, proofreading, and editing abilities.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications and Adobe.
