About CrossroadsCrossroads Church is a growing multi‑site, interdenominational church with sites currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, and plans to expand to additional cities. We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren’t located near one of our physical sites. Our desire is to model our staff and church community after the church in Revelation, where people of all nations, tribes, and tongues are worshiping and working together. We’re not there yet, but it’s what we’re working toward with every hire and every person who walks through our doors.
Execute Reach Out initiatives for a given site. These initiatives can be but are not limited to Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Gift Drive, and other site‑specific serving opportunities as determined by RO leadership and the site CP. The Reach Out Coordinator (ROC) is responsible for the training, development, and equipping of the Reach Out Site Directors in all aspects of Reach Out products, Global and Local.
The ROC is also involved in the planning, design, and evaluation of RO products.
- Plan and oversee RO site events’ scope, milestones, and general timelines.
- Ensure clear communication with volunteers, Community Pastors, site teams, and the central RO team throughout the coordination of events.
- Coordinate use of facilities, including parking, uniformed officers, safety, receiving shipments, storage, event decoration, etc.
- Work with site resources to coordinate logistics and assets needed to execute events.
- This includes coordinating box and/or gift storage at the site, decoration of the site, use of facilities (including parking, uniformed officers & safety), etc.
- This role requires consistent collaboration with multiple site ministries, including Engagement, Connections, and Facilities teams.
- Manage logistics and assets needed for site‑specific partners involved in initiatives.
- Identify the number of requested resources (i.e., boxes and gifts) and manage delivery.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's level degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to project manage/lead large‑scale events.
- Work collaboratively with all ministries and site teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Organized, disciplined with priorities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with Mac/PC and Google Platforms.
- Must be able to walk up to 5 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping as the duty requires.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- This position is roughly 24/hrs week.
- Occasional flexible hours might be needed at other times of the year.
- Must be able to work during essential Reach Out times, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other events not currently scheduled.
- Many of the tasks leading to the initiatives can be done from home.
- Might be invited to team outings throughout the year.
