Public Accounting Recruiter in New York, New Jersey & Connecticut

In just three years, this boutique tax and accounting practice has grown into a $1M operation. Fees are premium, expectations are high, and relationships matter more than spreadsheets.

What they don’t have at the moment is a true tax leader.

The current team are capable bookkeepers and seasonal preparers, but the firm now needs a seasoned tax professional who can do more than prepare returns. Someone who can review, advise, and become the trusted face clients call first.

The Role

More strategist than number-cruncher – reviewing returns, delivering tax planning, and managing client relationships.

The Offer

• Base salary:
  Up to $140k
• Bonuses: $20K–$30K for high performers
• Health insurance included
• Off-season: 50% office / 50% remote
• Tax season 55–60 hrs/week in March and April
• Mid-Jan to Feb: 40–50 hrs/week
