Harris is looking for Systems Engineers to help us design, develop, integrate and test innovative electronic system solutions for our customers and support their ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in RF systems, RF technology, and linear and non‑linear algorithms to enable new RF products, services, and RF business development for government customers and programs.

• Ability to work independently or with general supervision
• Strive for improvement and continuous development, seeking to increase knowledge base and growth opportunities
• Make recommendations for process or practice improvement within the Systems Engineering Organization
• Communicate within Systems Engineering and across other engineering disciplines
• Experience with requirements management and related tools (IBM Rational DOORS and/or JAMA)
• Support/lead integration and test of electronic systems and related hardware/software/firmware subsystems and products
• Support/lead data analysis, modeling and simulation to identify underlying root causes of issues and guide design
• Present work to multidisciplinary teams and internal/external customers

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience;
  Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience; or, in lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Active security clearance
• Experience with commercial RF/EE test equipment and devices (signal generator, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, attenuators, amplifiers, etc.)
• Experience generating requirements at various system levels and cascading requirements to subsystems and subcomponents

• Experience with requirements generation and ability to interpret and evaluate customer requirements for lower‑level assemblies
• Experience with data analysis and/or modeling and simulation (e.g. MATLAB, Python)
• Experience on hardware environmental and EMI qualification testing efforts
• Experience with concepts in signal processing, logic design, and computer architecture
• Experience working on aerospace/defense electronic systems (e.g., electronic warfare, radar, missile guidance, missile defense)
• Experience in the system design of embedded system architectures
• Familiarity with Digital Engineering, SysML/Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), and system simulation
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• Organized and detail‑oriented

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $90,500 – $168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
