As a Quality Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of company products in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Perform analysis on reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, electromechanical systems, field, and clinical data.
- Investigate causes for discrepancies and nonconformities to develop dispositions and recommend corrective action plans.
- Assist with material review board and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
- Interface with manufacturing and engineering to ensure requirements are met.
- Work with manufacturing engineers for defect disposition to support production floor.
- Provide defect trend analysis reporting at corrective action board (CAB).
- Work under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
- Achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related field.
- Secret Security Clearance.
- Preferred: IPC-A-610 knowledge.
Pay range: $50-$52 per hour (based on factors such as education, experience, location, job duties, certifications).
