Middle Office Officer – State Street

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Middle Office team at State Street. The role supports large alternative investment managers trading across diverse strategies and focuses on enhancing the trade support infrastructure through Straight‑Through‑Processing and real‑time information.

• Intermediate understanding of settlements for equities, fixed income, futures and foreign exchange and derivatives
• Process trades
• Confirm client trades by phone, email or matching platform
• Interact on a daily basis with prime brokers and client counter parties
• Resolve trade breaks with client and counter parties
• Resolve fails with prime broker and counter parties
• Liaise with clients regarding ad‑hoc issues and establish/maintain relationships with external parties (counter parties, prime brokers, etc.)
• Co‑ordinate system enhancements or new requirements on behalf of the team, responsible for system testing and sign‑off
• Involved in new client onboarding and fund initialization

• In‑depth knowledge of equity, futures, options, fixed income, FX, and derivatives (e.g., IRS, CDS, TRS)
• Experience interfacing with security valuation agents such as Markit PV, BVAL, ICE Data, JPM Pricing Direct
• Knowledge of trade order flow, security life‑cycle events (settlements, corporate actions), SWIFT messaging, and cash wire processing
• Strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills
• Experience with Advent Geneva Platform is an advantage

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4–6 years of relevant experience

$70,000 – $115,000 per annum (location dependent; ranges may differ for other sites).
