Bariatric Medicine Physician

• Full-time, hybrid position

• Lead billing and revenue cycle operations for a growing multi-specialty healthcare group

• Oversee all billing functions: charge capture, claims submission, payment posting, collections, A/R management, and appeals

• Supervise and mentor billing staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

• Monitor and resolve claim denials and payer rejections

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including A/R aging, collections, and reimbursement trends

• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements

• Collaborate with providers, administrators, and front-office teams to streamline workflows and optimize reimbursement

• Stay current with payer policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive medical billing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management and insurance regulations

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing software

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
