Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Professional to support high-complexity testing operations.
Responsibilities- Perform specimen handling, processing, testing, and reporting in accordance with laboratory SOPs.
- Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and release accurate test results.
- Maintain complete and accurate testing records, including proficiency testing documentation.
- Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Perform and document quality control activities, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions.
- Identify and resolve testing issues or elevate concerns to senior technologists or supervisors.
- Report STAT and critical results per departmental procedures.
- Maintain reagent labeling, inventory accuracy, and department organization.
- Participate in training, safety programs, inspections, and implementation of new procedures.
- Support internal teams and respond to client inquiries as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
